Leawood Lightning Swim Team

Learn to swim in a semi-competitive league!

We are a neighborhood pool swim team that practices twice a week and is geared toward introducing children to swimming while having fun.  We compete with other neighborhood pools in the Little Rock Area. Register your child(ren) for swim team at the first practice.

Cost

Tuesday and Thursday at 8:00 pm.

  • First practice for 7-14 will be Tuesday, May 30th at 8 pm.

  • Ages 6& under will have their first practice Tuesday, June 6th, at 8 pm. 

  • Children 6 and under practice for about 30-45 minutes, while children 7-14 will practice for approximately 45 mins to 1 hour.  

  • Your child will learn the basic swimming strokes and work on endurance and race competition.  

Swimmers must be younger than 14yr of age by June 1st. Birth dates will be required this year in compliance with the league. 

  • Practice is 2x per week, Tuesday evenings from 8-8:30 pm for 6 & Under, 8-9 pm for 7-14

  • Swim Meets are on TUESDAYS beginning at 6 pm. Coaches will provide the meet schedule at the first swim practice.

Members of the Leawood Pool - $60 for the first two children and $15 for each child after that in the family. (Example: If you have 4 children, the cost would be $90)

  • Non-Members - $70 for the first two children and $15/for each additional child in a family. (Example: 4 children would be $100)
